Henry is an experienced Global Business Executive having both corporate and bank clients worldwide. Through 30 years of coverage of Emerging Market economies, Henry is a regular speaker/lecturer both in the States and in China on how business is done globally, and in particular in Greater China and rest of Asia.
Currently Chief Operating Officer of Asian Investors Consortium (a private equity fund), Henry concluded his 35-year banking career in October of 2015 after completion of a 3-year affiliation with Fifth Third Bank of Cincinnati, Ohio as a Managing Director of its Global Financial Institutions Group. The PE Fund is from Asia and invests in Greater China, Asia, and other Emerging Market economies. Henry is also a Senior Advisor of ChinaPlus Capital Investments Limited of China, a cross-border M&A and consulting firm. Previous affiliations included Standard Chartered Bank China, East West Bank, SunTrust Bank, Comerica Bank, National City Bank and Bank of America HK.
Not a typical banker, Henry has coverage of major areas of banking including domestic and global lending, foreign bank relationship management, credit administration, compliance, import/export financing, trade banking and finance, treasury management, retail administration, domestic and international operations, investment banking (asset securitization-CDO & CLO, IPO, M&A), and wealth management (structuring and distribution). In addition to having domestic corporate client relationships, Henry has managed customer relationships (companies and financial institutions) in most Emerging Market economies. Originally from HK, Henry is well-versed in business with and in Asia as well as coverage of Emerging Market economies for over 25 years.
Henry is married to wife Elaine and have daughters Amanda and Vivian. He received his degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Detroit. Some of Henry’s volunteered services and affiliation include:

A believer in education and mentorship, Henry has been a frequent guest speaker/lecturer at universities both in the United States and in China. His education activities include seminars/lectures at China Jiliang University in Hangzhou, Sichuan University, Suzhou Institute, and colleges in USA (Emory University, Mercer University, Georgia State University, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State University, Florida International University). Henry was also the first and only foreign banker in 2009 and 2010 traveling with China’s Central Bank to promote RMB Internationalization and Commercialization in Europe and in Asia.
