Mr. Homing Tam is no stranger to the Hong Kong Business Associations family. Since his first appointment in 2009, as Membership Chair of Hong Kong Business Associations of Washington (HKBAW), he has been actively reaching out to business members and develop opportunities for student members through the Operations Committee (OC). Because of his love and interest to staying connected to the Hong Kong overseas community, he has since taken on roles, such as: Vice President – Global Affairs of HKBAW, Secretary General of National US-Hong Kong Business Association (NUSHKBA).
Homing has the unique ability to connect to people of different background and across many communities. Since 2010, he helped start a young professional committee, led the efforts to a revamped online presence, and worked closely with 90+ business chambers and non-profit organizations. His specialty is creating successful transpacific partnerships for entities between Hong Kong, China, and the US. As one of the Executive Board Member of NUSHKBA, he is currently developing a nation-wide platform for young professionals to exchange ideas and opportunities.
Homing is fluent in English and native in Cantonese, as he was born and raised in Hong Kong. You may have seen him hosting events somewhere in the Greater Seattle area as he is an active emcee and organized 1,000+ events.
